Due to physical distancing & office closures, eMediation can work for you now
We have found that our clients enjoy the certainty of a flat fee (rather than the unknown of the billable hour). The cost of our packages is shared by both of you. If you chose to handle your divorce separation in the more traditional way, you would each be responsible for paying your own lawyer and other professionals– not to mention the time involved in having to co-ordinate with these professionals.
We provide you with the combined services of 3 divorce professionals. Our combined package pricing works out to be less than if you hired us individually to work with you.
As a team, we "project manage" your separation from beginning to end. We manage our structured step by step process from background intakes with Jennifer and Zahra, the collection of all the financial documents with Eva and working together on strategies and options for getting to a settlement you can all live with.
Divorce mediation fees vary significantly based on the experience and skill level of the mediators, the scope of services they include and individual case complexities.
Traditional mediator packages may not include all the expertise that we have in our team. In some cases, many of the services we include in our packages would result in extra fees charged by other professionals.
Typically, with hourly rate pricing, the time involved is what often determines the cost. Hourly rates vary greatly and any amount quoted are the costs covering one spouse only. Our flat fee provides people with peace of mind because they do not have to worry about how high the fees might get.
How long it takes varies, depending on these factors: couples own timing/schedules, issues already agreed to, complexity of these issues, valuations of assets such as home, pensions and businesses.
We will provide you with your customized mediation package proposal once you each fill in your questionnaire.
